North Fork Valley on Colorado's Western Slope -- "Where the desert meets the mountains and New Age meets the New West". The North Fork Valley consists of three tightly knit, yet very distinctive little towns, Hotchkiss, Crawford, and Paonia -- and a lot of wide open views.
Watch for these flags throughout the North Fork Valley - they indicate Cultural Heritage Sites,Wine Tasting Rooms, Organic Farm Tours and Fine Art Studios. Western Colorado Tourism will have brochures on hand at the festival with more information.
The friendly, quiet, western style town of Hotchkiss hosts the festival at the fairgrounds park located right in town. There are art & gift galleries, antique shops and a great used bookstore to expore while you are in town. We'll have directions on hand to great bike rides, quiet country walks and even a "secret" fishing area.
Elevation is 5350 feet -- warm days and balmy nights for pickin!

!.  Saturday festivities include a morning parade, arts and crafts booths, barbeques and a Saturday night Fireworks display. Great way for festival guests and their families to enjoy their stay in town!
Camping is also available at Crawford State Park.

Paonia (9 miles northeast) enjoys its status as the new age community in the valley. Paonia is home to the nationally famous environmental paper, The High Country News, and to KVNF public radio - visit their gorgeous new studio while you are in town!
